GENERAL PRIMARY HEALTH CARE
Primary health care is a basic level of health care provided outside of the hospital, which includes programs directed at the promotion of health, early diagnosis, and prevention of disease. Complete physical exams are included in primary health services offered at HealthNet, as well as treatment for acute and chronic health conditions, necessary lab work, and specialty consult visits.
MENTAL HEALTH CARE
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Counseling and referrals are provided.
HEALTH EDUCATION
Health educators teach our patients about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of our patients, encouraging patients to take greater responsibility for their health outcomes.
PEDIATRICS
Primary care for children and adolescents patients.
MEDICATIONS
Volunteer health care specialists prescribe and provide medication. To get maximum benefit from medications, it is important to take them exactly as prescribed.
VISION CARE
Periodic eye and vision examinations are an important part of preventive health care. Eye exams and prescription glasses are provided. These services are offered off-site at our vision partners.
