4th Annual Night of Fright to benefit Rock County uninsured

HealthNet of Rock County will be hosting its 4th Annual Night of Fright on October 30, 2015 from 7 PM until 11 PM at the The Armory in Janesville. This is the organization’s special fall event which helps fundraise for healthcare services provided to low-income, uninsured Rock County residents. This year’s event is a costume party for adults, and the purchase of a ticket includes two drinks tickets, appetizers, a photo booth, and live music from The Gary Band.

HealthNet of Rock County’s Executive Director, Ian Hedges, said, “We like hosting Night of Fright for the community because it is the premier party for Halloween in Janesville and it is a way for community members to give back during the season.”

According to a recent survey by Enroll America, as many as 11 percent of Rock County residents are uninsured, while many remain underinsured in the county. HealthNet of Rock County, Inc. provides free medical and dental care to low-income and uninsured residents of Rock County.

Tickets for the event are 45 dollars each, and 80 dollars for couples.  Cash prizes will be given for individuals and groups with the best costumes. To purchase a ticket, please call 608-314-1921 or visit www.healthnet-rock.org/event/nof.

Hedges also notes that he expects the event will have record turn out this year. “Many people are excited about the Armory, and I think people are excited to learn more about HealthNet as health care issues have taken spotlight over the last couple years. Without hesitation, we had businesses like Data Dimensions and Blackhawk Community Credit Union step up and contribute to the event.”
